What is the Patient Portal?
The Patient Portal allows access to personal health information. Patients or their designated
healthcare representative can use the Patient Portal to access past medical records, visit summaries, and billing statements. This portal may also be used to send messages to your medical provider and our clinical team.
What if a patient has a health care need between visits?
The nursing staff has direct access to providers for communication of any concerns 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The providers are able to order medications, tests, and additional skilled services if needed prior to the next visit.
How do I schedule an appointment?
The nursing staff can add any patient to the schedule for individual facilities. Or feel free to call our
office at 352-854-5530 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to schedule an appointment or ask any questions. Please ask to speak directly to our Assisted Living Department.
Will I see a doctor at each visit
You will not always see the Doctor. So that we are able to give each of you the time and attention you need and deserve, our physician assistants and nurse practitioners will be making regularly scheduled visits. The Doctor is in regular communication with each provider and informed of patients progress and physician visits are .
What if a patient has to go to the hospital?
Absolute Elder Care works closely with the hospital of the patient's choice. Providers communicate with hospitalists, and skilled nursing specialists to coordinate patient care. If issues arise, your assigned provider will contact the hospitalist or SNS overseeing your care to make sure that you get the attention you deserve!
Do you accommodate Spanish Speaking?
Yes! We have several providers who speak Spanish!
